Touring Gig 4+

The Touring Gig 4+ is the latest addition to the Freedom range of boats, but is our first “touring” boat. Over the coming year we intend to add a 2x/+/3x, a 1x+/2x and maybe even more!

The Touring Gig 4 is available with sweep riggers only, scull riggers only, or with both sweep and scull riggers.It is also available as a 5x.

• Cox position may be removable, and convertible to a sculling position (5x).
• Same shape as those already popular in Europe.
• Big hatches on each seat deck for storing clothing etc.
• 40cm hatch on bow canvas, 20cm hatch on stern canvas for storing bigger items.
• Built in keel for exceptional strength and stiffness, as well as great tracking.
• Stainless steel keel strip to protect the keel.
• Choice of Euro or Ali wing riggers.
• 4 handles for easy carrying
• Large rudder for good maneuverability
